👻🎃 THINGS THAT GO BOO! – HALLOWEEN SPECIAL! 🎃👻 AFTERSCHOOL Something spooky is coming to Spark & Settle this October… but we’ll be discovering that things aren’t always as scary as they first seem! 👀💜 In this fun, hands-on session, children will explore feeling scared — why we have this emotion, how our brain and body can react super-fast, why we can all react differently and how our brains sometimes make quick guesses when they don’t have all the information. We’ll also discover something really important… 🦇 Being brave doesn’t mean NOT feeling scared! Children will explore how bravery can look different for everyone — from taking one small step or having a go to asking for help or using our voice. And, of course, we’ll be learning through LOTS of doing! 🙌 👻 Ghostbusters – Is it real danger or a false alarm? 🦇 Bat Reaction Challenge – How fast can our brain and body react? 👀 What Am I Looking At? – Can our brains work things out with only a tiny bit of information? 👹 Build-a-Brave-Monster – Create a unique monster while exploring all the different ways bravery can look. 🫠 Melt the Monster – A fun calming technique for releasing tension from our bodies. 🕷️ Spider Fidget – Make a hands-on calming tool to take home! 📅 Tuesday 20th October ⏰ 5pm-6pm 📍 My home in Brentwood, Essex 💜 £10 per child 👻 Maximum 4 children Full address will be sent privately after booking. Parents stay during the session, with sofa seating and a downstairs toilet available. 🐾 Please be aware I have animals in my home. My dog will be put away throughout the session and will not be in the session space.
